THE DESGINER
Bori Györök founded the GYOROK occasionwear and jewellery brand in 2021. The designer is inspired by the French Art Nouveau and her experience in the international fashion scene. Bori previously worked for a luxury brand in Paris, and studied at Europe’s leading fashion universities, LCF in London, ENSAD in Paris, and MOME in Budapest. During her university years, she showed her work on the catwalk in several European cities, including Paris.
THE BRAND
Our inspiration can be traced back to art nouveau, which appeared at the beginning of the 20th century in Hungary. This time at the Secession Hungarian fashion reached its golden age. This was not a secret for Europeans and even more, it drew some American attention too.
Our jewellery collection highlights shapes and motives of Hungarian secession mixed with French art-nouveau modern forms and materials. GYOROK uses tools of feminity, pairing them up with modern attributes to please the bohemian and sophisticated WOMAN of the 21st century.
