THE DESIGNER
I bring creations that perceive textiles as a multifaced medium. I beautify the space and the wearer, as my philosophy is that the resulting utility object also becomes a work of art. I pay attention to high-quality craftsmanship, originality of material design, and use of textile techniques. I connect design with free art in installations and environments in which I also invite creators from other disciplines.
THE COLLECTION
The term "author's textile" does not mean only an artistic painting or a pattern, but also structural principles and the object itself, which is also an important subject of the designer's interest. Colours, shapes, and textures are an important point. The creation of the textile itself is accompanied by the enjoyment of colours, forms, surface contrasts, and the harmony of tactile sensuality. The creation of materials requires a simple technique that must always be maintained, even in the most complicated cases, because this satisfaction that comes from the quality of materials is part of the satisfaction we get from art. Craft and tailoring procedures are used in the work, completed with textile techniques and manipulations. The result is a capsule collection consisting of tapestries and clothing.
