THE DESIGNERS
The team members are 10th-grade students from BKSZC Creative and Artisan Technical School, studying fashion and costume design. The students are: Avazpour Aynaz (16), Novák Laura (16), Simon Panni (15), Rudolf Balázs (16), and Vizniczki Vanessza (16).
After finishing technical school, they plan to study Fashion and Textile Design at MOME. Panni may continue her studies abroad, possibly at a French university. After graduating, all five students want to work at a fashion house or start their own brand, focusing on designing evening or streetwear.
Panni enjoys horse riding and would like to design riding clothes in the future. Vanessza and Laura are also interested in costume and accessory design. Besides designing, Balázs would like to try modeling as well.
THE COLLECTION
The Deconic collection combines the elegance and geometric shapes of Hungarian Art Deco architecture with modern luxury. The clean-cut pieces shine in shades of dark green, gold, and black, reflecting the refinement and rich materials of the era. The structure of the clothes is strictly designed, with sharp angles and symmetrical decorations that recall the characteristics of Art Deco architecture. At the same time, fine and elegant details bring movement and dynamism to the design. The aim of the collection is to offer a timeless and captivating look for those who appreciate the harmony between artistic architecture and fashion.
Main materials: green velvet, grey chiffon. Decorative elements used: gold-colored straw and seed beads, gold-colored metal zippers, hand-painted silk satin ribbons, faux leather, and 3D elements. Technologies used: 3D printed shapes, recycled laser-cut faux leather forms. For sustainability, leftover laser-cut elements from previous projects were also used. The collection also includes adaptable pieces. Some shapes can be fastened with press-studs and moved to other garments.
