THE BRAND
ZSOLT ZÓLYOMI
Hungarian perfumer educated at Isipca, Jean-Paul Guerlain’s world-renowned Fragrance Academy in Versailles in 2006. Working on international fragrance briefs and creating his own compositions for both brands and private entities, he performs unique and custom made "haute couture" creations, like the imaginary fairy tale ambience fragrance for the Hungarian Pavilion at Osaka World Expo or the latest fragrances for ESTORAS heritage brand of the famous Hungarian Esterházy noble family. He founded the LE PARFUM niche perfumery chain in Budapest, the international meeting point for fragrance enthusiasts and the luxury seeking clientele, where he offers his world-famous 1-hour Personal Fragrance Selection Session. Besides being a nose, he is “the Perfume Ambassador” of the regional media. As a brand-independent luxury industry consultant and fragrance expert his activities cover fascinating olfactive animations and events ranging from corporate parties to product launches, olfactive marketing projects, fragrant art exhibitions and smelling animations - for even kids, old or disabled people. Zsolt also opened his LE PARFUM Perfumery School to share his knowledge for the next generations of his beautiful art.
ESTORAS
ESTORAS, founded by Paul-Anton Esterházy, is a contemporary homage to his grandfather, Prince Antal Esterházy. The first fragrance was ANTAL, a perfume inviting you into the fascinating adventure of Antal Esterházy when almost 100 years ago, the passionate racing driver and his best friend Count László Almásy, also known as “The English Patient”, went on an adventurous tour de force through the Sahara. It was the era of great explorers, fearless adventurers, and legendary gentlemen. Nonchalance and class, daring and elegance: ESTORAS revives the uniqueness of that time and interprets it in a contemporary way – for those who chase impossible horizons today. The next two fragrances of ESTORAS were created by Zsolt Zólyomi, the Hungarian nose. PORT OF ALEXANDRIA Eau de Parfum immediately evokes the scent of fishing nets and heaps of seaweed drying on the dock, piles of citrus peels in the courtyard of an Arab café by the port, and the salty sea breeze blowing in from the Mediterranean. It’s a truly astonishing perfume that transports us directly — and almost cinematically — back in time to experience the moment when we arrive, alongside our heroes, from the port of Trieste to the bustling, noisy, and chaotic Egyptian harbor. Here, the cries of gulls mingle with the shouts of burnous-clad Arabs, and amid the loading and unloading of countless goods and spices, the oily, animalic aroma of the fish market floats above the iodized, salty scent of the seawater—while a weary traveler is already being offered freshly squeezed citrus juice.
Continuing the way from Alexandria towards the heart of Africa, SHADOWS OF GIZA EdP is next, a truly mysterious perfume that leads us all the way to the entrance of the Great Pyramid of Giza. This fragrance tells dark secrets — secrets known only to those who have ventured into the heart of the pyramids. After inhaling the scorching desert sand outside, one feels the damp, cold breath of millennium old but still very erotically influental mummies on the back of the neck deep within the thick stone walls of these sun-scorched, mirage-shimmering structures. It is a perfume full of depth, starring leather, violet leaf, angelica, and the extract of the iris root — one of the most precious ingredients in the world of perfumery.

This extensive feedback, experiential data, and effect analysis help to perfect and refine each product into a noble companion for everyday beauty routines. The work done at Vintage Beauty is not self-serving. It speaks to the guests who have honored them with their trust for years, those customers who have made their products part of their everyday lives, and also to those in need of support. It is a duty and mission to stand by women in need, children requiring assistance, and causes of social importance. For years, the brand has supported the work of NaNe, Bátor Tábor Foundation, and Hősök Tere with a portion of revenue. Since July 2020, they have been contributing to the vital work of the Hintalovon Child Rights Foundation, and also lend a helping hand to the homeless supported by Válaszút Háza. They place special importance on NaNe Association’s efforts to combat domestic violence, which they support through the distribution of their educational materials and by donating all related proceeds to the organization.
FRAPIN
Since 1270, the artisanal, family-owned Frapin has been refining its methods of producing some of the best cognacs in the world. It is to extend this approach and to underline the relationship between two exceptional crafts epitomizing the greatest traditions of French luxury that we have decided to offer scents inspired by our cognacs, our history and our land. Frapin Perfumes tell the story of an illustrious family, a glorious field and of a time honored know-how. The first fragrance launched, named 1270 was participated with the co-operation of the famous Hungarian nose, Zsolt Zólyomi through greatly enjoyable evaluation sessions in the heart of Grande Champagne, in Chateau de Fontpinot located on the family estate of gentle green vineyards. Cognac bears a similar producing process like Tokaji aszú, our famous alcoholic drink of Hungarian history, and being both an educated perfumer and trained Master of pálinka, Zsolt had a thorough knowledge on the oak barrel aging of both gold colour drinks with sweet dried fruit notes reminiscent of the rich distillation heritage.
