THE DESIGNER
Letizia Palchetti is the Denim Designer and Creative Director of Shaft, a family-owned company specializing in premium denim. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from the Politecnico di Milano and has further refined her creative vision through specialized courses at Central Saint Martins in London. Raised in an environment where jeans are part of the family tradition, she carries forward her grandfather’s legacy—the first to import denim from the United States—with a contemporary vision and an authentic approach to design. Today, she leads Shaft together with her mother and brother, enhancing the brand’s historical archive, founded in 1968, and reinterpreting it with modern sensitivity. Her creative work combines Italian craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail.

Shaft is a Made in Italy brand specializing in premium jeans.
Born in 1968 in Montpellier, Shaft Jeans was founded from the vision of a French craftsman and soon became a leading benchmark for the most exclusive and innovative Italian denim production.
The brand continuously invests in research and development, exploring new embroidery techniques, advanced laser treatments, quilted, and needle-punched textures, and refined washing processes, to create jeans that combine tradition, craftsmanship, and modern design.
The brand believes in the quality of its materials, which is why all products are 100% Made in Italy.
