THE DESIGNER
Timotej Bistan is a Slovenian designer known for his distinctive approach to clothing as a form of personal and artistic expression. He gained recognition during his studies, presenting his work at events such as Ljubljana Fashion Week and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana, as well as internationally. After completing his studies, he refined his skills in Paris under the mentorship of stylist Špela Lenarčič, contributing to projects for brands like Dior, Numéro France, Chaumet, and Akris. In 2020, Timotej launched his own brand, TIMOTEJ BISTAN, where he explores classic garment construction and reinterprets it through a modern lens, merging the worlds of fashion, art, and functionality. His creations stand out for their unique storytelling and impeccable silhouette. In addition to his fashion work, Timotej is actively involved in costume design for theatre, film, music videos, and commercial projects, bringing his distinct aesthetic sensibility to a wide range of creative fields.
