THE DESIGNER
Petra Kubíková is a Slovak fashion designer based in Bratislava. She graduated from the Fashion Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in 2015. Her work is defined by the stylization of shapes, simplicity, neatness, and a strong sense of combinability. She finds inspiration in Japanese culture—especially in Tokyo and its unique atmosphere—as well as in music and art history.
For Petra, materials and their properties are principal and determinative factors in her creative process. She primarily works with natural materials such as wool, cotton, and leather, allowing their character to shape each design.
THE BRAND
The brand is built on Petra’s rich international experience gained through fashion competitions, exhibitions, and shows in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, New Zealand, Belgium, and England. These encounters have shaped a design language rooted in clarity, material awareness, and thoughtful construction.
From the very beginning, the work has been recognized for its quality and vision. Petra received The Best Fashion Graduate Prize upon completing her bachelor’s degree, followed by the Fashion Live Fresh Designer Award for her diploma collection. In 2018, she was honored with the NOIZZ Fashion Award as the most popular designer in Slovakia—confirming the brand’s strong resonance both within the professional field and with a wider audience.
THE COLLECTION
The AW26/27 collection reflects the journey of designs created by Petra Kubíková over the last ten years. It has been ten years since her university graduation and the official establishment of her brand.
Petra is analyzing her creations with the goal of creating a completely new collection consisting of the strongest designs that have defined the aesthetic of her brand. She takes into account the needs of her clients, societal changes, and experiences she has gained over the past years.
AW26/27 is a spontaneous yet logical continuation of SS26, focusing on volume and the contrast of structures to create ready-to-wear pieces, drawing inspiration primarily from art, music, and nature.
