THE BRAND
The SLANGSLANG brand was presented as the successor to the Tyra Clothing brand in 2011 at the New York Fashion Week Nolcha event. The target group is the lovers of vibrant, characterful cut lines. For those who value comfort and functionality, as well as care about sustainability in fashion, they can choose from great clothes, bags and shoes from the portfolio.
THE COLLECTION
A special feature of capsule collections made with contemporary visual artists and co-creators is that the raw materials used are partly from recycled marine plastic. Our basic collections are also strongly based on graphic elements, they contain coordinated women's, men's and unisex pieces, which are also made with a focus on reducing the ecological footprint. Morphosis x SLANGSLANG, the footwear collection with soles made from the tread of non-commercial tires formed as a by-product, made its debut at the Milan Design Week. In collaboration with SLANGSLANG x Back2Bag, bag and jacket collections have been made from deactivated airbags, seat belts, and seat upholstery for years. Several high-end automotive players have already chosen from this collection. Some are standard equipment in new cars.
The specialty of their collections is that each piece of foreskin is made in a virtual, 3D form, from which a moving image display is also made.
The guiding line of the ss25 collection is recycling/upcycling, which can be used both inside and outside, and the pursuit of transparency. In addition to the transparent fabrics, the collection will again include pieces inspired by contemporary visual artists, made in cooperation. The products can be reversed, symbolizing complete honesty and at the same time ensuring functional usability.
