THE BRAND 

The SLANGSLANG brand was presented as the successor to the Tyra Clothing brand in 2011 at the New York Fashion Week Nolcha event. The target group is the lovers of vibrant, characterful cut lines. For those who value comfort and functionality, as well as care about sustainability in fashion, they can choose from great clothes, bags and shoes from the portfolio.

THE COLLECTION

The Slangslang 25/26 winter collection, with its textiles and forms, reflects aesthetic effects reminiscent of fog-clarifying landscapes, ice-freezing bold shapes, and powdery snow-blanketing surfaces like raw wool. This duality of elegance and wildness finds balance in the collection's design ethos. The collection blends shredded textile waste, soft wools, and translucent, sophisticated fabrics. Organza, with its crisp transparency, is filled with warmth through embedded fibers. Padded jackets, textured surfaces, and patterns softened by embroidery hover over the execution of the products. Recycled plexiglass decorations, such as factory-made button replacements, contribute to sustainability while enhancing the frozen water aesthetics.

Transparency and translucency dominate the prints, echoing X-ray-like contrasts that create sharp visual transitions. Industrial by-products such as airbags and plexiglass, alongside zero-waste design principles, are integral to the collection. The constant presence of these materials in the brand encourages continuous rethinking of their forms. While inherently neutral, the collection allows for versatility in styling, with pieces that transition seamlessly between unisex and gender-specific options. The style of the collection makes everyday pieces exciting while remaining relevant to their practical use.
