THE DESIGNER

Tamás Szili, designer and creative director, founded [UNREAL] in 2018 in Budapest. Since then, the brand has grown into a leading independent streetwear label in Central Europe, known for its bold visuals, engagement with critical social themes, and limited-edition capsule collection.

THE BRAND

[UNREAL] was created as an ideological brand with the goal of opening people’s eyes to the important matters of the past, present, and future—while holding a mirror to society through youthful and edgy characters — born from rebellion, curiosity, and the desire to stay awake in a sleeping world. Through bold silhouettes and symbolic designs, it merges art, fashion, and provocation.

THE COLLECTION

The [UNREAL] FW26/27 “QUESTIONS” collection intertwines the deepest myths of human history with modern illusions.
Adam and Eve, the serpent, 9/11, crop circles, and the human brain all collapse into a single question:
what is truth, and who do we believe today?

The collection explores the manipulation of belief, social programming, and the distortion of reality.
“QUESTIONS” does not offer answers—it acts as a mirror, reflecting the modern human, increasingly constructed from algorithms, beliefs, and fear.

The season’s message is raw and precise:
“EVERYTHING WAS A HOAX. AND WE STILL BELIEVED.”
“SOCIETY PROGRAMMED US TO BEL1EVE. NOW BE [UNREAL].”

Material choices—organic cotton and recycled polyester—are combined with textured, layered surfaces, diverse screen-printing techniques, and handmade material manipulations.
Tailored silhouettes collide with oversized forms, allowing even the most extreme pieces to become part of everyday wear.

The black-and-white contrast is disrupted by a blood-red “question layer”: handwritten messages such as
“WHO CONTROLS YOUR MIND?” and “ARE YOU STILL HUMAN?”—as if suppressed doubts were burned directly into the garments.

The [UNREAL] “QUESTIONS” collection is a modern manifesto:
a language of clothing for awakening, self-reflection, and resistance.
